White Hot

It was so much fun spending the weekend with my family, and we got back in time to watch the Oscars on Sunday. I loved seeing what all the actresses were wearing. My favorite looks of the night were white, cream and blush gowns. So pretty!

Frothy

Good morning! Happy Monday. Did you watch the Oscars this weekend? I did for a bit, and I was eager to see what kinds of gowns would come down the red carpet before the awards. After all the sparkle at the Golden Globes earlier this year, I wondered whether actresses would switch things up. The pretty theme seems to be going strong -- and I love it! Mila Kunis's lacy purple Elie Saab dress was my favorite of the night. And Halle Berry, Mandy Moore, Hilary Swank and Florence Welch all looked stunning in gowns that were flowy, feathery, sparkly and just very, very pretty.

Oscar-Worthy

I had a lot of fun watching the Oscars on Sunday night. I inevitably end up with a list of movies I haven't yet seen but want to soon -- and of course it's neat to see what celebrities wear to the event. As strange as it may sound, my favorite dress of the evening was the Jenny Peckham gown Miley Cyrus wore. I like the sleek corset top and love the sparkly skirt. I know some people didn't appreciate the look, but I'd happily wear that dress!
