Pants Party
All summer long, I've been living in dresses. They're comfortable, easy and pretty, perfect for hot temps. But as fall approaches, I'm eagerly anticipating all the cool pants I've been seeing in magazines. There are so many trends to try: bold color, edgy prints, metallics and leather-like details. Here are a few pairs -- by Current/Elliott, Paige Denim, Mother, Superfine, 7 for All Mankind, Genetic Denim, Paige Denim and alice + olivia -- all found on shopbop.com.

White Now
While I happily wear white all year long, there's something especially refreshing about it when temperatures rise. So I was excited to see a fantastic roundup of white clothes on Shopbop. Here are a few sleek dresses -- by Club Monaco, Susana Monaco and Tibi -- that I'd love to wear all summer long.

See and be Seen
I'm loving this shopbop lookbook. The luxe See by Chloe clothes and the New York City backdrop are a fantastic pairing. They make me wish I were lounging in a posh hotel room and then heading out to see the city.

Screen Style
The Sound of Music is an incredible movie, a film that always uplifts and inspires. Julie Andrews is wonderful in it, and Christopher Plummer is so dashing. But until recently I never gave much thought to the fashion -- but it's pretty great too! Here are a few of my favorite things:
Green and white prints feel so fresh for running around this summer -- singing on a mountainside, climbing trees and falling into lakes are optional.
I'm crazy about the full skirts and nipped waists that the girls wear in the movie. And who doesn't love a cute sun hat?
And I want a soft, fluttery-sleeve dress perfect for falling in love and kissing in a gazebo!

Slow Fade
I'm a girl who loves color. I usually go for clothes in saturated tones; neutrals typically bore me. However, something unusual has been happening lately. I'm drawn to grays, muted metallics and creams, even camels and beiges. Somehow, these hues seem sophisticated and understated.
So I was excited to see a roundup on Shopbop highlighting light-colored jackets, boots, sweaters, blouses and more. But I especially liked these dresses:

A gold minidress by Milly.

A one-shouldered frock by Alice + Olivia.

A short-sleeve dress by Madewell.

A tiered number by Reformation.

A shirred minidress by Halston Heritage.

A knit dress by Ports 1961.
