So, we're not in the Caribbean this week after all. My little nephew got sick, and at the last minute -- at four in the morning as we were assembled at my parents' house about to head to the airport -- we had to cancel our family trip. We're all really disappointed, but it was the right decision.
Being at home Sunday night gave me the chance to watch the Golden Globes, specifically, the red carpet coverage before the awards show. I can't decide which trend I like better -- pretty blush-hued dresses or vibrant-colored gowns. Here are a few of both!

I hope it's nothing serious and that your nephew is feeling better. I watched the Golden Globes too and I can't say there were very many gowns I loved. My favourites were Angelina and Charlize. xo

OMG I was so in love with Reese's gown. It's just delicious. I also loved her hair down. Even so, I was equally in love with Kate Beckinsale's ensemble.

That is too funny that we both did a post today on the dress from the globes. I really loved the bright colors as well. Yellow was my favorite :)

Thanks for all the sweet well-wishes for my nephew! He's feeling quite a bit better now, but it's good that we stayed. If you have to be sick, it's always better to do it at home : )
