If ... Then?

I'm a believer in dressing the part, in following the adage "Dress for the job you want, not the one you have." Given this philosophy, I have to wonder: If I got this perfectly simple tote from Lands' End Canvas, would I then unexpectedly inherit a sailboat? Maybe come into little beach house on the coast of Maine? I'm all for it, so maybe I ought to go ahead and buy the bag!

Totes Cool

With spring on the horizon, I'm looking forward to days of running around town in sandals and dresses. And wouldn't a lightweight canvas tote with a graphic pattern be a fun accessory? I think so, and I think any of these from the Craft Pantry would be lovely.

Little Joys

I picked up a little something for myself this weekend. And it is silly how happy this small purchase makes me.

They are two black chiffon flower bobby pins from Forever 21. They set me back a whopping $1.80. But I am so loving them! I can't wait to wear them. I'm already planning a work outfit around them and a more fun look around them for the weekend.

It really is the little things, isn't it?
