Dressing Up

Back in elementary school, I wore a dress or skirt every day. That is, except for days when we had gym class and were required to wear pants or shorts. Lately, I must be pretty in touch with my inner seven-year-old because I can't remember the last time I opted for pants over a dress. All summer I've been living in sundresses, and I love it. 

If I had to choose only one designer with which to outfit myself, it would have to be Diane von Furstenberg. Now, she's someone who gets dresses!

    Ohh I love love the first red dress! I wear pants sometimes, but I'm trying to wear more dresses, especially since it's been so hot lately! Great finds.

    All of these are amazing. I totally agree. I can't even imagine wearing jeans or pants this time of year (so hot in NY today). And Diane is the way to go because her dresses are so transitional. From day to night!

    she is so awesome, love the one shoulder one best! and she's apparently a bit nutso (but what good designer isn't?).... I was reading Tim Gunn's latest book and he tells a story about how they went to a diner and she just starts yelling out her order as soon as they walk in the door. hahah.
