If ... Then?

I'm a believer in dressing the part, in following the adage "Dress for the job you want, not the one you have." Given this philosophy, I have to wonder: If I got this perfectly simple tote from Lands' End Canvas, would I then unexpectedly inherit a sailboat? Maybe come into little beach house on the coast of Maine? I'm all for it, so maybe I ought to go ahead and buy the bag!

    You should just buy the bag anyways. It looks like a great weekender! Who cares if you never set foot on a sail boat!
