Natural Nuances

Today's been a dark, rainy day. The kind of day that makes you want to go home, wrap youself in cozy blankets and get lost in favorite books.

I wonder if they're also the kind of days that inspire Frances Seward's photography. The artist's images are stunning, perfectly capturing the colors, textures and moods of nature. I could stare at them all day.

Photos from here.

  1. What beautiful photographs - I love them. Here in Oxford the mornings always start out lovely (except this morning, which appears to be dull and a bit nippy) but all too often by the time I give Beatrice her lunch and get the two of us ready to go out somewhere fun, clouds magically appear and the first drops of rain start to fall...

  2. Sarah, Oxford sounds like such an incredible place to live -- even if you do have afternoon rains : ) I love living where the weather varies, as long as there are plenty of sunny days thrown in the mix!

  3. Wow, those colors are incredible. It has been a rainy few days here too. I do love a good thunderstorm though. I've been missing them since summer!

  4. I know what you mean. Thunderstorms are so exciting -- in a good way. Especially after a long winter!
