Ballet Style

It was so much fun dressing up as Black Swan for Halloween this weekend. And I realized the ballet aesthetic doesn't just appeal to me as a costume. In one way or another, I've always admired the look of dancers: their strength and grace, as well as their style. I love ballet flats, swishy skirts, off-the-shoulder tops and wrap sweaters. I like pale pinks, soft whites and pretty grays, and anything that shows off the collarbone or back. So gorgeous!

  1. Dancers are so beautiful and graceful. I wish I had taken up dancing when I was younger. The pale colors are so great too :)

  4. I'm pretty enthusiastic about the ballet style myself. I think it also has to do with grace and poise, two qualities that have become so rare nowadays. Hope your week is off to a beautiful start, Katie!

  6. That was a great idea for Halloween! I used to dance professionally, and my practice outfits doubled as street clothes all the time. I really like that 5th picture down.
